The Amedeo Panama Fine has a 7,5 cm wide brim and is decorated with a 4 cm grosgrain ribbon in turchino color.

The production of Borsalino straw hats starts in Ecuador, where the local straw is harvested from the stems of the palm tree. 

toquilla stalks, boiled and dried under the sun. A process that can take up to six months. The skilled craftsmen of the Ecuadorian craftsmen 

weave it by hand, making extremely fine, unfinished hats to Alessandria for the ongoing rigorous and complex production processes.

Once the ribbon is added, the brim is hardened and the hat is ready for the final steps: trim, stitching, inspection and packaging - all by hand.
